I am so LUCKY to have this family in my life. I have only known them for 8 months but it feels like we have been friends for years. Corinne (the hot mamasita pictured below) was a blessing in disguise. I met her in April, just a couple weeks after Bryan was deployed, at the mall of all places. My kids were playing on the stage in the outdoor courtyard and so were her kids. We both have a ‘Gavin’ so the boys were a little confused when some stranger yelled out “Gavin be careful” or “Gavin slow down”. Our kids were all running around together and then somehow one of them saw that they all had the same Nalgene bottles and that is where the conversation began. We soon realized that we had much more in common than a ‘Gavin’ and Nalgene bottles. Corinne also has a passion for Photography and we gibber-jabbered about that for quite a while. We ended up exchanging names so we could look each other up on facebook and we have been friends since!
Over the course of Bryan’s deployment Corinne & her husband Corey were there for me and the kids. They opened their home to us for summer holidays, Corinne watched my kids so I could have a day to myself, she photographed Morgan’s birth, she (as well as her mom & sister) brought me meals after Morgan was born, she brought me chick-flicks and ice cream, Corey changed the locks on my house, the list goes on and on. They kept me sane. Period. I’d have to say that was a mighty big task but I am pretty sure Corinne could handle just about anything life throws her way. Yea, she is that amazing. I (we) will be indebted to them forever. As a tiny token of my appreciation I offered to photograph their family this holiday and I am so glad they accepted. They are a BEAUTIFUL family, inside and out!
P Family – love you guys!
